Zebra's Newest RFID Printer/Encoder Offers Shorter Connectivity Across Technology Platforms and Applications to Decrease Integration Complexity and Reduce Total Cost of Ownership VERNON HILLS, Ill., July 26 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Zebra Technologies (Nasdaq: ZBRA), a global leader in delivering on-demand specialty printing solutions for business improvement, and a leader in the design and manufacturing of RFID smart label printer/encoders, announced today that its new R110Xi radio frequency identification (RFID) printer/encoder is now XML- enabled and ready to ship. Zebra is the first company to develop and bring to market an Extensible Markup Language (XML)-enabled bar code and RFID smart label printing solution designed for companies using ERP, warehousing and supply chain/logistics software, such as those offered by Oracle and SAP. These software solution providers are developing XML-based platforms to support customers who must meet RFID compliance mandates or other business improvement initiatives.
