| New Domino Printer Offers Optimal Performance September 1, 2001 PREVIEW PPMA A printer designed to be the best on the market for tough environments, incorporating IP66 protection, is being launched at PPMA by industry leader Domino. Through its sealed unit design, the Domino A300 SE offers optimal performance to manufacturers who have environments with a high level of dust, vapour or sugar such as the building, soft drinks, food manufacturing and paper and board industries. Manufacturers are also assured of complete reliability and efficiency on the production line because automatic sensors ensure that the A300 SE will only operate when systems are functioning to protect it from particles in the air. The sophisticated stainless steel cabinet features a unique pressurisation system that protects the technology from airborne contaminants. There is also the option of the new Domino XS printhead, which increases coding speeds by about 30 per cent - faster than any other single jet coder on the market. The A300 SE is compatible with a comprehensive range of A-Series advanced performance fluids such as Domino’s 899BK ink, which has excellent adhesion to untreated high and low density polyethylene. Also on the Domino stand will be the A200 - one of an innovative new generation of complete coding systems designed specifically for the pharmaceutical and cosmetics, electronics and general food packaging industries. Simple to operate but with advanced design, the A200 also shares in common with the A-Series of coders the benefits of reliability, high performance and user friendliness. On show too will be the Domino G-7000 - a high definition digital print system which produces superior quality codes up to 70mm high. Specifically designed for porous outer case coding applications, the Domino G-7000 features the latest print engine technology, which operates 500 individually controlled print channels to create all major bar codes and graphics. Founded in the UK, in 1978, Domino is now a global operation with sales exceeding £150 million. Domino has recently been officially recognised as one of the UK’s best companies with The Queen’s Award for International Trade. |
