| New Domino Printer Offers Optimal Performance For Soft Drinks Industry June 1, 2001 June 2001 Carbonated drinks manufacturers can now achieve maximum production capacity thanks to a new, innovative coding solution from industry leader Domino, which eliminates printing problems caused by high levels of sugar or vapour in the air. The Domino A300 SE has been designed to be the best tough environment printer on the market and has IP66 protection. Beverage manufacturers are also assured of complete reliability and efficiency on the production line because automatic sensors ensure that the A300 SE will only operate when systems are functioning to protect it from sugar or vapour in the air. The sophisticated stainless steel cabinet features a unique pressurisation system that protects the technology from airborne contaminants. Other benefits for manufacturers include fully automatic start up and shut down which eliminates frequent printhead cleaning and also ensures maximum uptime. A fully integrated cooling system allows consistent performance, even in high temperatures. There is also the option of the new Domino XS printhead, which increases coding speeds by about 30 per cent - faster than any other single jet coder on the market. Rachel Hurst, Product Manager said: “Every aspect of the A300 SE has been developed with efficiency, simplicity and reliability in mind. A full range of A-Series options means that whatever the customer’s requirements the A300 SE can be adapted to suit individual needs.” Founded in the UK, in 1978, Domino is now a global operation with sales exceeding £150 million. Domino has recently been officially recognised as one of the UK’s best companies with The Queen’s Award for International Trade. |
