| Enercon Announces Single-Source Turnkey Cap Sealing Solutions August 1, 2001 Enercon Announces Single-Source Turnkey Cap Sealing Solutions MENOMONEE FALLS, WI –With the introduction of Enercon’s new e-jector™ container rejection system the company is now the first company to offer a turnkey equipment solution for cap sealing applications. The addition of the pneumatic rejection system to the Enercon product line is significant as it provides packagers with a single source for a turnkey cap sealing, inspection, rejection and system and process validation. Previously packagers had to outsource a rejection system or build their own. “With our sealing, inspection and rejection capabilities packagers can save time and money by having a turnkey system from Enercon. Because our system is homogeneous, it can be quickly installed and ready for operation without any additional engineering on the user’s part,” says Enercon Vice-President of Cap Sealing Sales Bill Zito. What makes the company’s offerings even more unique is that they are also the only cap sealer manufacturer to offer a complete validation package to support the product line. The e-jector itself conveniently connects into Enercon’s cap inspection systems and mounts to virtually any conveyor. A simple to use operator interface allows users to set delay time, length of stroke, and power of stroke to meet a variety of application requirements. The e-jector’s NEMA 4 enclosure makes it safe for washdown environments. And, it operates at conveyor speeds up to 300 feet per minute. The e-jector is ideal for food, beverage, pharmaceutical, chemical and any other application that requires efficient and economical container rejection. While the e-jector is designed for use with Enercon inspection systems, the unit performs equally well with any other inspection device that can supply the system with an appropriate signal. Enercon Industries Corporation is headquartered in Menomonee Falls, WI, and supplies a complete range of automatic and semi-automatic induction cap sealers to the packaging industry. The company also manufactures custom built bare-roll, covered-roll and universal roll surface treating systems, and 3D plasma treaters for the plastics and rubber industries. |
