LSI was founded in 1979 in order to meet the packaging industry’s need for heavy duty, pressure sensitive labelers. LSI has always designed and manufactured labelers that could stand up to the abuse inherent to 24 hour production line demands.

Stand Alone Labelers

LSI offers 5 Series of Apply only labelers. Stepper Drive labelers as well as Servo Drive labelers, and custom machinery including print and apply, and apply only labelers. From its inception in 1979, LSI has designed and manufactured labelers that could withstand the abuse inherent to 24 hour production line demands. LSI’s design approach is to use innovative product and label handling techniques, coupled with conservatively rated mechanical and electrical components. Left and right hand models. Each labeling head uses anodized aluminum plate construction with interchangeable bolt-on applicators. Other names that refer to these types of machines include: applicators, tamp, tamp applicator, blow-on, corner wrap labeler, roll-on, wipe – on, box labeler, bottom labeler, carton labeling, box labeling, label applicator, label applier, wipe on.

Print & Apply Labelers

LSI offers 2 Series of Print and Apply Labelers available with any OEM print engine from Sato, Zebra, Datamax or Avery. Left and right hand models are available. Compact designs allow for easy integration into packaging lines including palletizing and case sealing operations. Other names that refer to these types of machines include: print & apply labelers, carton labeling, box labeling,pallet labeling,pallet load labeling, bar code labeler, carton labeler, security seal labeler, label applicator, label applier, Sato printers, Sato print engines, Zebra Printers, Zebra Print engines, corner wrap labelers, bar code labelers, pallet labelers.

Fully Engineered and Integrated Turnkey Systems

LSI has a complete line of standard labeling systems and custom labelers. Each labeler is configured to match the specific needs of the customer and application. Typical applications include front and back labeling, security tag labeling, DVD labeling, CD labeling, labeling, PET bottle labeling, HDPE bottle labeling, water bottle labeling, tabletop labeling, cylindrical, plastic bottle labeling, carton labeling, box labeling, inline labeling, in line labeling, bench top labeling.

Stand Alone Apply Only Applications

The Series 40 is LSI's Economical Performance line of stepper motor labeling heads. Series 40 includes models to accommodate 5" and 7" web widths, 12" and 16" diameter unwind rolls and user adjustable dispense speeds up to 1200" per minute. Field conversion kits are available to convert any Series 40 model into any other Series 40 model. All models are available in either right hand or left hand configurations. They are designed to work with any of LSI's standard applicators.

Print & Apply Applications

The 20 Series and 2000 Series Labeling Head can be equipped with any Zebra, Datamax, Avery or Sato OEM print engine. Print engines are available in either 203 dpi, 300 dpi, or 600 dpi depending on the printer model with print speeds of up to 12" per second. The machine handles a 12" O.D. roll and has full roll rewind capacity. The simple controller package features internal product time delay to make adjustments to the label placement on the product easy. Applicators are bolt on, making them interchangeable should the nature of the application change.

Semi Automatic Applications

The Model 301 Wrap around machine is a small bench top model utilizes the Series 300 Labeling Head. The adjustable cradle allows the operator to individually load round bottles. Changeover is performed without tools.

The Model 376 is also a small table top labeler designed to label a single panel, top, or side panel of the product.

Wrap Around Applications

LSI offers several versatile turnkey wrap around labelers such as the Series 1500 open frame machine and Series 4500 main frame machine. The machines are designed for 24 hour usage and maximum versatility and ease of change over.

Front and Back Applications

Turnkey labeling machines for this application include the Series 1600 open frame labeler and Series 6500 main frame labeling system. The labeling machines go apply labels at speeds to 300 products per minute at +/- 1/32” accuracy.

Corner Wrap Applications

LSI can supply a labeler to apply a corner wrap label to the lead corners of a case or carton or the trailing corners of the box. Several simple applicator types are available for either print & apply or apply only applications. The labeler can either be supplied as a stand alone labeler or as a fully engineered and integrated turnkey labeling system.

Leading and Side Panel Applications

A heavy duty applicator engineered to apply the label to the leading and/or side panel of a carton or pallet is an LSI specialty. This application type is also known as a swing arm type label applicator.This application is popular with pallet labeling or pallet load labeling applications.

LSI's Product Handling System

LSI designs and manufactures complete turnkey products handling systems for virtually any product size, shape or weight. All LSI Product Handling Systems feature heavy duty aluminum and painted steel frame to fully support the conveyor and mounting stations. Optional castors can be provided for enhanced portability.

These versatile and heavy duty systems can be integrated with an LSI Labeling Head or other device such as an Ink Jet or Vision System. Competitive Labelers can also be installed on the LSI Product Handling System.

The modular design can incorporate a variety of Infeed Systems such as a Spacer Wheel, Dual Infeed Belt, or Infeed Screw. Product Control Systems including a Top Hold Down, Chain Aligner or Dual Transport Belts can be installed.
